How can counselling help you?
Counselling can enable you to achieve more confident and realistic ways of coping with your problems.
Your counsellor will help you to identify the nature of your difficulties, understand and acknowledge your problems and look at ways in which you might make changes.
Counsellors do not give advice as such, but will support you by listening carefully while helping you to explore your options and consider changes in the way you handle your relationships. RSCCF also offers sexual relationship therapy.
Who are the counsellors?
Relationship Counsellors are trained to diploma level and work to professional standards. They receive regular supervision and cpd and go through an annual renewal process to demonstrate that they have met the required standards for supervision and Continuing Professional Development.
Is the service confidential?
Counselling is private and confidential. This means that we will not give your name or any information about you to anyone outside RSCCF unless someone's personal safety is at risk.
